The Relationship Between User participation and Enterprise Innovation benefits - Based on the Perspective of Information Relevance

It is especially important to attract users to participate in product design before producing in order to shorten the development cycle, improve company’s innovation performance and users’ satisfaction for the products simultaneously. The paper analyzes the impact of user participation on ultimate profits of the enterprise by constructing the profits function model, considering the cost of incentive strategy and the innovation platform constructing cost. The paper selects information relevance as the decision variable, exploring when the enterprise can benefit from user participation from the perspective of profits. As a result, it has been proved that the innovation profits will first appear a downward trend as the information relevance increases, then it begins to rise, and finally it will actually benefit from user innovation.
